Why are ActivOzone natural cosmetics products not labelled ‘Cruelty Free’, ‘Not Tested on Animals’ or ‘Animal Friendly’?
The European Parliament in Regulation 1223/2009, which regulates cosmetic products, bans animal testing with application from 2004 and progressively until 2013, both for final products and for their individual ingredients or combinations of them.
That is why currently all cosmetic companies that market our products in the EU comply with the regulationand it is not necessary to use specific labels on the packaging, even this labelling practice is considered unfair competition according to Regulation (EU) No. 655/2013 on claims relating to cosmetic products and the Unfair Competition Act.
